Third batch of Ukrainian eggs for 2013

This is the third batch, hot off the egging bench for 2013. These eggs are done with the traditional Ukrainian symbols, and colors. There are rams, horses and deer to symbolize wealth and prosperity. There is a rooster, symbolizing fertility and wish fulfillment. Along with that, grapes and wheat, for an abundant harvest. Also included, are butterflies for renewal of life as well as the symbol for resurrection, crosses, a Church, and the fish which came to symbolize early Christianity. There is an egg with forty triangles representing the Trinity, as well as the 40 days of Lent. There are also suns, stars and meandering lines for life, growth and eternity, and flowers for love, charity and good will. Lastly, a Trypillian egg with natural earth colors and a spiral meandering design which predates Christianity, signifying the cycle of life.
Just a reminder that my first Ukrainian egg demonstration is this Saturday, March 2nd, at "Artists' Mediums" in Williston, VT, from 12:00pm-2:00pm. You may also purchase Ukrainian egg decorating supplies from them if you'd like to give it a whirl after watching my demonstration!
The last three demos are as follows:
